It’s that time of year! State truck driving championships have just kicked off from Louisiana and across 40 states holding competitions this Spring and Summer. In June, Pennsylvania and the PMTA is gearing up for their turn to send the best drivers to Indianapolis for the National Truck Driving Championships in August.
This is where the best and safest drivers come out to play, and today we have one such GRAND champion in our midst, Bob Dolan, a retired driver after 45 years on the road with 3.5 million safe miles driven with just one accident and has won the PMTA championship and 16 National Truck Driving Championship titles! To top it all off… Bob was also awarded the Neill Darmstadter Professional Excellence Award for his lifetime of safe professional truck driving in 2019. Currently he is PMTA’s Road Team Leader.
Bob, welcome to the podcast!
